HashKey Capital's No. 9 license has been approved by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to upgrade and provide virtual asset fund products and services to retail investors
According to BlockBeats, on April 11, HashKey Capital has obtained an exemption from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for the qualified investor clause in its existing asset management (No. 9) license for HashKey Capital Limited.
As one of the first virtual asset management companies to obtain such a license upgrade, HashKey Capital Limited will be able to provide virtual asset-related fund product services to retail investors in the future (specific products are subject to final approval by the SFC).
In addition, the license upgrade will also bring new product categories to HashKey Capital, open up new markets and opportunities, and will also enable it to reach a wider range of investors and expand its influence in the field of virtual asset management.
Previously, HashKey Capital announced a strategic partnership with Bosera International on April 6 to promote innovation and promote industry growth. With the recent license upgrade, the cooperation is expected to pave the way for both parties to jointly research innovative fund products, including spot ETFs, and bring new investment opportunities to retail investors.
