BlockBeats reported that on April 6, digital asset security company Station70 recently announced the completion of a $5 million seed round of financing, led by Matt Walsh and Castle Island Ventures, and followed by Notation Capital, Semantic Ventures, SCB 10X and CoinShares.
At the same time, Station70 officially launched its cornerstone disaster recovery platform Bunker. Bunker aims to simplify the private key backup and recovery (KBR) process and help institutional clients cope with the wide range of trust and security challenges related to the security and accessibility of digital assets. Bunker will be available in two configurations: Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition. The Enterprise Edition will provide value-added services such as advanced configuration, customized compliance functions, regulatory and audit reports, and insurance. In addition, Station70 also provides enterprise customers with Recovery Response Services (RRS) to help build a resilient failover architecture.
Adam Healy, founder and former chief information security officer (CISO) of Station70, said that institutions generally face the problem of private key management when they self-custody assets. Station70's mission is to provide the industry with the necessary tools to help institutions quickly improve business continuity. They will work with many high-quality wallet providers, especially Fireblocks, to jointly build an industry ecosystem where trust and security are core features.
In the coming weeks, Station70 will test Bunker with several customers in order to launch a public version as soon as possible.
