Crypto com CEO: The current price correction is relatively healthy, or it is in the market cycle stage in December 2020
BlockBeats news, on March 17, Crypto.com CEO Kris Marzsalek said in an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box that funds flowing into spot Bitcoin ETFs drove the rise of cryptocurrencies. He also believes that we may be in the December 2020 or January 2021 phase of the previous cycle and that the current price adjustment is "healthy."
"We have a lot of proprietary data, so we can look back at the 2021 cycle from a retail perspective and compare it to what's happening now. From the retail side of the data and intent, we're probably going to be in December 2020 to 2021 This indicator was seen during January of this year.”
Marszalek said the benchmark cryptocurrency has experienced significant volatility before as Bitcoin prices fell below $67,000 after topping $73,000 last week. "I think that's mostly driven by what's going on in the options market and the correction, but you have to remember that this volatility is actually quite low compared to what we've seen in previous cycles."
