U.S. judge rejects Genesis and Gemini’s motion to dismiss SEC lawsuit

BlockBeats news, on March 14, CoinDesk reported that U.S. Judge Edgardo Ramos of the Southern District of New York has rejected Genesis and Gemini’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), holding that the U.S. SEC “reasonably accused” the two companies of violating securities laws, including for allegedly offering and selling unregistered securities to retail investors through the now-defunct Gemini Earn program.
