According to a report from CoinLedger, a cryptocurrency tax software provider, cryptocurrency investors in 2023 made an average net profit of nearly $900 from selling cryptocurrencies, which is in stark contrast to 2022 when several cryptocurrency companies went bankrupt, resulting in investors losing billions of dollars. CoinLedger analyzed reports from its 500,000 users and found that the average cryptocurrency investor realized a profit of $887.60 in 2023. As the industry began to recover, the situation improved. CoinLedger added, "This is in sharp contrast to 2022, when the median cryptocurrency investor realized a loss of $7,102."
