Bit Brother, a Bitcoin mining enterprise, has received a Nasdaq delisting notice.
According to BlockBeats news on February 4th, Bit Brother Limited recently disclosed that the company has received a delisting notice from Nasdaq, which was issued on January 30th. The notice stated that Bit Brother is planned to be delisted from Nasdaq in accordance with the power under Rule 5101 of Nasdaq Listing Rules.
The reason for this decision is based on concerns arising from certain warrants with cashless exercise provisions included in two registered offerings by Bit Brother on October 25th, 2023 and December 5th, 2023, as well as concerns about the related public interest resulting from such transactions.
However, this delisting notice will not immediately affect Bit Brother Limited's listing and trading, as Nasdaq has allowed it to participate in a hearing on February 27th to provide explanations. Prior to the completion of the hearing process, Nasdaq will continue to suspend any trading halt or delisting actions.
