Binance: XIRTAM's "primary market" user asset returns are about to end, and the "secondary market" user asset returns are about to begin.
BlockBeats reported on February 1st that according to an official announcement from Binance, the Binance security team has been communicating and continuously resolving issues related to the return of assets for the XIRTAM project in order to "maximize the protection of users". The platform has initiated the asset return process for users (over 1,750 affected addresses) on September 6, 2023, to assist affected users in this incident in retrieving their assets. In order to protect the interests of all relevant users, Binance will stop the asset return process for "primary market" users of XIRTAM on February 29, 2024, and launch the asset return process for "secondary market" users on March 10, 2024.
1. Asset collection for "primary market" users will end on February 29, 2024.
Binance noted that there are still about 150 affected users who have not collected their assets from the XIRTAM official token sale (including private and public sales) for "primary market" users. Please read the Binance official guide below as soon as possible to confirm your eligibility for asset collection and complete the application for asset return before the deadline of February 29, 2024.
2. Asset return for "secondary market" users will begin on March 10, 2024.
As Binance did not hold the assets that users paid for when purchasing XIRTAM in the secondary market, these affected assets were not originally included in this asset return process. Adhering to the principles of "user first" and "user protection", Binance will use the remaining ETH assets from the asset return for "primary market" users to calculate and confirm the XIRTAM asset return for some affected users who purchased through the secondary market.
This process is expected to begin on March 10, 2024, and the "secondary market" return will be automatically calculated by the platform, without the need for users to provide relevant materials. After the calculation is completed, Binance will gradually issue the corresponding ETH assets to eligible users through a smart contract address, and specific rules will be announced separately after the asset return for "primary market" users is completed.
