Bitget announced at the Davos Conference that it will invest $10 million to support women's public welfare projects.
On January 17th, BlockBeats reported that Bitget announced its Blockchain4Her program during the Davos Web3 Hub event hosted by CV Labs at the 2024 World Economic Forum. The program aims to promote gender diversity and inclusivity in the blockchain industry, with Bitget committing to investing $10 million in supporting women's public welfare projects. The program includes initiatives such as a female entrepreneur incubation plan, venture capital competitions, a blockchain women's summit and awards ceremony, and an ambassador program.
During the conference, Bitget engaged in deep discussions with female experts and entrepreneurs from various fields on how to promote gender equality in the Web3 industry, harness the power of women, and advance the development of the crypto industry. Kristina Lucrezia Cornèr, the editor-in-chief of Cointelegraph, stated that "In the cryptocurrency industry, we need to promote diversity and inclusivity, just like Messi, to create more 'Messis' in every community."
