Matrixport: Even if a Bitcoin spot ETF fails to be approved, the cryptocurrency market will continue to rise further in 2024.

According to a report by BlockBeats on December 14th, Matrixport analyst Markus Thielen predicts that the cryptocurrency market will continue to rise by 2024, even if a spot Bitcoin ETF does not receive approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The increase in liquidity, the Bitcoin halving event, and the possibility of Trump being re-elected all provide further catalysts for the cryptocurrency market to rise. Thielen stated that since the pandemic, the assets under management of US money market funds have increased from $3 trillion to $6.1 trillion, meaning that the interest paid annually is approximately $370 billion, equivalent to about $1 billion per day. This money can easily flow into riskier investments such as stocks and cryptocurrencies.
