Coinbase has launched a fund transfer service that allows users to send money through links on WhatsApp, TikTok, and Instagram.

According to BlockBeats news on December 6th, Coinbase is launching a new service that allows customers to send funds to each other for free through the world's most popular communication channels. In a blog post, Coinbase stated, "We've made it incredibly easy to send funds via links, whether through messaging apps like WhatsApp, iMessage, and Telegram, or through social media platforms like Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram, and even through email. People will be able to send funds to others in different countries, and settlement for transfers will be instantaneous and free." Both the sender and the receiver of the funds must have a Coinbase wallet. If someone receives a link but has not installed Coinbase's digital wallet, they will be directed to download it from the Apple or Android app store. If funds are not withdrawn within two weeks, they will be automatically returned to the sender.
