Atomic Wallet requests US court to dismiss $100 million lawsuit related to hacking incident.

According to BlockBeats news on November 20th, the parent company of Atomic Wallet has requested a US court to dismiss a class-action lawsuit seeking $100 million in compensation for a hack. The reason is that these claims should have been filed in Estonia, where the company is headquartered, according to the end-user license agreement that requires all lawsuits against the company to be filed in Estonia. Atomic also argued that only one user in Colorado was affected, and 5,500 Atomic users who claimed to have been affected agreed to its terms of service, which expressly deny any losses due to theft and limit damages to $50 per user.
