Data: Cryptocurrency lobbying spending this year may exceed that of 2022.
According to the latest report from CoinGecko, as of November 14th, the total lobbying expenses for the cryptocurrency industry in the United States from 2019 to 2023 amounted to $56.44 million. So far, cryptocurrency lobbying groups in the United States have spent $20.19 million in 2023, not including fourth quarter expenses. Therefore, cryptocurrency lobbying expenses in 2023 may exceed $22.23 million in 2022. It is worth noting that as of now, cryptocurrency lobbying expenses in 2023 account for 19.7% of Wall Street lobbying expenses, an increase of 3.7 percentage points compared to 2022.
