The Aave community initiated an on-chain voting proposal to "disable stable borrowing rates" in response to potential risks.
According to information on the governance page, the Aave community is conducting an on-chain vote on the proposal to "disable stable borrowing rates". The voting will end on November 8th. This proposal disables stable borrowing rates for all assets in all pools on the network. In addition, it unfreezes assets previously frozen by the administrator.
Yesterday, BlockBeats reported that Aave has taken temporary preventive measures in response to issues reported about a certain feature of the Aave protocol. All funds are safe and a governance proposal to restore normal operation of the protocol will be submitted soon. A detailed post-analysis will be released after the issue is fully resolved.
