The opBNB testnet will undergo a Fermat hard fork on November 3rd.

According to an official announcement from BlockBeats on October 26th, the Fermat hard fork of the opBNB testnet is scheduled to take place at block height 12113000, with an expected activation time of 14:00-14:15 on November 3rd, 2023. This hard fork will lay the foundation for interoperability between opBNB and BNB Greenfield, and stabilize the L1 gas price for L1 data costs of opBNB L2 transactions. Community developers are required to upgrade to opNode v0.2.0 and opGeth v0.2.0 before the hard fork to ensure compatibility with the new precompiled contracts and to ensure normal operation of the nodes after the hard fork.
