Binance has filed court documents seeking again to dismiss the "meritless" lawsuit brought by the US CFTC.

According to BlockBeats news on October 24th, Binance submitted a document to an Illinois court stating that "US law only governs domestic affairs and the US Congress has not authorized the CFTC to be the regulator of the world derivatives market." Therefore, the court should dismiss the "inflammatory" lawsuit filed by the CFTC against Binance and CZ. As previously reported by BlockBeats, on March 27th, Binance and its CEO CZ were sued by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for allegedly violating trading and derivatives rules.
