Bakkt partners with Lightspark to provide a solution for KYC-verified transactions on the Lightning Network for B2B clients.

According to BlockBeats news on October 23rd, David Marcus, former president of PayPal and founder of Lightspark, announced the launch of an enterprise-level end-to-end solution for Universal Messaging Addresses (UMA). UMA combines human-readable lightning network addresses with enhanced messaging and integrates with the lightning network's real-time global payment system, making remittance as easy as sending an email. This solution has been open-sourced and available for anyone to use. Bakkt, a digital asset platform, has announced that it has become one of Lightspark's first partners and plans to provide UMA for KYC verified transactions on the lightning network for their B2B customers.
