The Aave community has passed the ARFC proposal "Further increasing GHO borrowing rate to 3%".
According to BlockBeats news on October 16th, the governance page shows that the Aave community has passed an ARFC proposal to "further increase the stablecoin GHO borrowing rate to 3%". The proposal suggests raising the GHO borrowing annual interest rate from 2.5% to 3% to enhance GHO anchoring and increase income. The discount for stkAave holders remains unchanged at 30%.
GHO, the native stablecoin in the Aave protocol, has been below $1 since its inception, and apart from insufficient liquidity management, there is currently no practical application value in holding GHO.
