According to a BlockBeats report on September 25th, the cryptocurrency trading platform HTX left a message to the hacker who stole 5,000 ETH from their hot wallet via the blockchain, stating "We have confirmed your true identity. Please return the funds to 0x18709E89BD403F470088aBDAcEbE86CC60dda12e. We will provide you with a 5% white hat bonus. This promotion is valid for 7 days and expires on October 2, 2023. If you do not return the funds before the deadline, we will request the intervention of law enforcement agencies." BlockBeats also reported today that HTX suffered a loss of approximately $7.9 million due to the hacker attack on their hot wallet.
