A Melbourne couple who mistakenly received $6.6 million in funds from Crypto.com will face trial.

According to BlockBeats news on September 24th, a Melbourne couple's Crypto.com account accidentally received AUD 10.5 million (approximately USD 6.6 million) in 2021, and the error was not discovered until the annual audit of the Crypto.com trading platform in December 2021, as reported by Cointelegraph. Crypto.com filed a lawsuit and the judge ruled that the couple must return the funds to Crypto.com. The couple will face charges of theft in their guilty trial in October.
