SlowMist: The Web3 messaging protocol XMTP recently integrated by Coinbase Wallet has been used by several attackers to send phishing links.

BlockBeats reported on September 20th that MistTrack, a cybersecurity firm, announced on social media that Coinbase Wallet has recently integrated with the Web3 messaging network protocol XMTP. As long as a user's wallet address is connected to the messaging network, they may receive any information sent through the messaging protocol. MistTrack discovered that many attackers have been using this feature to send phishing links to wallet users. They remind relevant wallet users to be cautious and not to click on any suspicious links.
