FTX: All affected accounts have been unfrozen and claimants can reapply on the platform.
BlockBeats reported on September 17th that FTX announced on social media that after reviewing and evaluating the recent Kroll cybersecurity incident, all affected accounts have been unfrozen. Claimants can now resume their claims on the platform, and the team has taken additional security measures. The FTX system was not affected by the Kroll incident, and the frozen accounts were a preventative measure.
As previously reported by BlockBeats on September 15th, the Unsecured Creditors Committee (UCC) representing FTX customers stated on social media that the deadline for customers to submit claim proofs is 4:00 AM Beijing time on September 30th, 2023. Customers submitting claim proofs are required to submit KYC, but regardless of whether KYC has been verified, users should submit claims before 4:00 AM Beijing time on September 30th.
