Singapore requires banks to investigate suspicious transactions related to the previous money laundering suspect.

According to a report by Bloomberg on September 8th, the Monetary Authority of Singapore has instructed financial institutions to review the related transactions of a suspect in a previous money laundering case. The Singaporean Financial Supervisory Authority has requested that all banks review any suspicious or abnormal transaction messages of the suspect since the beginning of 2020. The review list includes 34 people, including the 10 suspects who were arrested last month. BlockBeats previously reported that on August 17th, Singapore had uncovered its largest money laundering case in recent years, with 10 people including the founder of Newbillion Investment, Su Bolin, being arrested.
