Barcelona's holding company receives €120 million investment to drive its Web3 initiative.

According to the announcement, Barcelona sold a 29.5% stake in its subsidiary Barça Vision holding company, Bridgeburg Invest, in exchange for funding. "Barça Vision" is the club's initiative to integrate all digital content related to Web3 and blockchain, including NFTs and the metaverse, as part of its digital Espai Barça strategy.
Libero is a German-listed company that provides financial consulting services to football clubs. Nipa Capital is a venture capital firm based in the Netherlands. This transaction requires the approval of Barcelona's shareholders and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
