MetronomeDAO has recovered most of the stolen funds from the Curve pool vulnerability incident and will establish a recovery plan.
According to a BlockBeats report on August 2nd, the DeFi protocol MetronomeDAO announced that it has successfully retrieved most of the funds that were exploited in the Curve pool vulnerability incident, and will continue to work towards recovering the remaining funds.
The project's next step will urgently need to determine its recovery plan. It has already established a new msETH/WETH pool and injected initial liquidity, with plans to continue increasing liquidity in the next 10 days. The recovery plan will include how LPs can participate in this new pool. The project team has confirmed that they are now able to restore the Metronome mainnet operation when deploying this new msETH/WETH pool. Users can once again manage their Metronome Synth and smart mining.
As previously reported by Beosin, on the night of July 30th at 10:50 PM, the sETH-ETH-f pool on the DeFi platform MetronomeDAO was hit by a re-entry attack, resulting in a loss of $1.625 million.
