BlockBeats reported on August 2nd that BNB Chain announced that the opBNB mainnet will be launched in mid-August, initially open to infrastructure providers, and expected to be open to ordinary users from late August to early September.
Data shows that the opBNB testnet has processed over 7 million transactions, connected 435,972 wallets, deployed more than 40 dApps, processes over 86,000 blocks per day, and handles transaction volumes of up to 100,000-150,000 per day, with over 6,000 daily active users.
The future goals for opBNB include further improvements in fraud-proofing, account abstraction, data availability, interoperability, and decentralized sorters.
