According to BlockBeats news on July 27th, the cryptocurrency payment startup Eco, which was previously invested by a16z, has launched its non-custodial payment system Beam. Built on the Optimism and Base networks and based on smart contracts, Beam divides its access keys into three channels: the user's Twitter account, the password set by the user, and the user's browser, and the original key can be reconstructed through any two of these channels.
In addition, Beam supports ENS domain names and allows users to pay transfer fees in USDC when transferring USDC.
So far, Eco has raised a total of $95 million, with investors including a16z, Coinbase Ventures, Founders Fund, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Pantera Capital.
