According to official sources on July 19th, Curio, a blockchain game developer, announced the launch of L2 framework Keystone to build high-performance on-chain games. The framework combines EVM and high-performance game engines, and will provide support for the DA layer of modular blockchain Celestia. Previously reported by BlockBeats, on February 21st, Curio announced the completion of a $2.9 million seed round of financing, led by Bain Capital Crypto, with participation from TCG Crypto, Formless Capital, Smrti Lab, Robot Ventures, Zonff Partners, and several angel investors. The funds from this round will mainly be used to expand the team, with a focus on hiring blockchain engineers, microeconomists, game designers, and customer engineers.
