OKX's Web3 wallet has launched UTXO management functionality for Bitcoin transfers.
According to official sources, on June 27th, OKX Web3 wallet has launched the UTXO management feature for Bitcoin transfers. When transferring BTC, users can view and manage the UTXOs occupied by Ordinals inscriptions through this feature, thereby releasing BTC liquidity. Currently, OKX Web3 wallet is the first multi-chain wallet to support this feature on both mobile and plugin ends.
It is reported that with the development of the Ordinals ecosystem, more and more Bitcoin inscriptions are appearing. Some UTXOs occupied by abandoned Ordinals inscriptions can cause users to have partial balances that are not available, making it impossible to conduct normal BTC transfers. This feature allows for easy viewing of occupied Ordinals inscription assets and easy management of UTXOs through removal and recovery of occupation. However, it should be noted that the UTXOs that have been released will be treated as normal balances consumed, and users need to confirm that the NFTs contained in the released UTXOs are abandoned assets.
