Gauntlet: Abnormal TUSD borrowing behavior on Aave v2, with utilization rates reaching 98% multiple times.

BlockBeats reported on June 25th that DeFi risk management platform Gauntlet has launched a new proposal in the Aave community to iteratively reduce LT, LTV, and/or freeze TUSD supply on Aave v2 Ethereum in order to start delisting TUSD. Gauntlet stated that in the past week, abnormal borrowing and lending behavior of TUSD has been observed on Aave v2, with utilization rates reaching 98% multiple times, remaining above 90% from June 9th to June 15th, and dropping to 74% as of June 16th. Gauntlet expressed that, due to the inability to quantify risks related to centralized stablecoins and regulatory issues, they hope to provide several options to the community to gauge preferences and opinions on TUSD: 1. Iteratively reduce the LT liquidation threshold of TUSD to 77.5% and the loan-to-value ratio (LTV) to 75%. 2. Freeze TUSD supply. 3. Abstain from voting. 4. Maintain the status quo. The first two options are not mutually exclusive, so this is a multiple-choice vote. The vote will end on June 26th.
