Huang Licheng: ZachXBT's accusations against me are not true, but only a fair trial in court can determine the truth.
BlockBeats reported on June 20th that Huang Licheng, the "Ma Ji Da Ge" (Brother Ma Ji) in the cryptocurrency industry, posted on social media regarding the recent defamation lawsuit filed against him by blockchain detective ZachXBT. Huang Licheng stated that the lengthy article published by ZachXBT in June 2022 containing multiple accusations against him was false and without evidence. However, the public opinion in the cryptocurrency industry has already become one-sided, and the only way for him to obtain a fair trial is through the court. Huang Licheng also clarified several incorrect points in ZachXBT's article, including:
· Formosa Financial: Huang Licheng did not embezzle 22,000 ETH as claimed by Zach, nor did he have access to the multi-signature for transferring treasury ETH, and the receiving address did not belong to Huang Licheng.
· Cream Finance: Before the two vulnerabilities in August and October 2021, Huang Licheng handed over Cream Finance to a respected team in 2020 and returned to manage the project in February 2022, restoring funds for those affected by the vulnerabilities.
· Squid DAO: There was no pump and dump, nor any improper behavior. In January 2022, Huang Licheng supported the proposal to return the DAO funds, resulting in over 12,000 ETH being returned to Squid DAO participants.
