Korean media reports: Following Haru Invest, another CeFi platform in Korea, Delio, announced the suspension of withdrawals.
According to a report by Korean media Decenter on June 14th, the Korean crypto management and lending platform Delio announced that it will suspend withdrawals from 6:30 pm. Delio explained that this measure was taken due to market volatility after Haru Invest suspended crypto asset deposits and withdrawals. In response, the crypto exchange platform Upbit also announced today at 6:49 pm that it will restrict Delio's virtual asset withdrawals, stating that this is "part of investor protection measures."
As previously reported by BlockBeats, the crypto asset management platform Haru Invest announced yesterday that it will suspend deposits and withdrawals due to partner issues. Afterwards, some media outlets discovered that Haru Invest seemed to have quickly closed its offline office and deleted some social media accounts after announcing the suspension of deposits and withdrawals. Haru Invest CEO Hyung-soo Lee stated that they are investigating the reasons for the platform's suspension of deposits and withdrawals with their partners and devising a solution.
