The UK Financial Conduct Authority will implement stricter regulations on cryptocurrency advertising, introducing a "cooling-off period" provision for investors.

BlockBeats reported on June 8th that the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that from October 8th, cryptocurrency service advertisers will face stricter regulations in the UK. These include introducing a "cooling-off period" for first-time investors and cryptocurrency companies being required to cancel incentive measures such as "referral bonuses to friends". The FCA stated that the stricter regulations are aimed at helping investors understand the risks involved in cryptocurrency investments.
