Aragon Association announces the revocation of all voting rights for ANT holders, following Arca's public call for Aragon to repurchase ANT.
According to BlockBeats news on May 10th, the legal manager of DAO management platform Aragon Association announced the revocation of voting rights for ANT Token holders on all matters including strategic direction and a $200 million fund. The association is a Swiss entity responsible for overseeing Aragon. After suffering a "51% attack" from radical ANT investors, the association stated that it "fulfilled its fiduciary responsibilities by using Aragon DAO as part of a new funding plan to safeguard its funds and mission."
Previously, cryptocurrency investment fund Arca called on Aragon to repurchase ANT Tokens in an open letter on Tuesday. Researcher Alex Woodard wrote in the letter, "We plan to work with other token holders to suggest that Aragon continue to repurchase and restore ANT to its book value."
