Layer 1 public chain Zilliqa successfully deploys mainnet upgrade enabling EVM compatibility.

BlockBeats reported on April 27th that Layer 1 public chain Zilliqa announced the successful deployment of the mainnet upgrade that enables EVM compatibility. The EVM is now live on the mainnet and the network can process transactions normally. The trading platform has also restored ZIL deposits and withdrawals. With EVM compatibility, users can use EVM DApps and wallets to transfer ZIL locally. After implementing the first complete version of EVM compatibility, it will be extended in subsequent mainnet upgrades to include full interoperability between Scilla and Solidity standards for fungible tokens, NFTs, and more.
