Bittrex will shut down its US operations on April 30th, but its operations in other regions will not be affected.
BlockBeats reported on April 1st that Bittrex co-founder and CEO Ritchie Lai announced that the company will be shutting down its US platform on April 30th. Given the current regulatory and economic environment in the US, it is not financially viable to continue operating. Regulatory requirements are often unclear and enforced without proper discussion, resulting in an unfair competitive landscape. Therefore, operating in the US is no longer feasible. All customer funds are safe and can be withdrawn. Bittrex Global, which operates in regions such as Europe, Canada, and South America, is not affected and will continue to facilitate trading.
