BlockBeats reported on March 22 that Bitget has invested $30 million in cryptocurrency wallet BitKeep, valuing it at $300 million and becoming its controlling shareholder. Gracy Chen, the general manager of Bitget, stated in an interview with The Block that their controlling stake is far higher than 51%, and that Bitget had already invested in BitKeep in 2021 and 2022, but this information was not publicly disclosed. BitKeep will continue to operate as an independent entity.
Previously, in May 2022, BitKeep raised $15 million in Series A funding, with a valuation of $100 million.
