Online gaming company Azra Games has raised $10 million, led by a16z

BlockBeats news: On February 21st, online gaming company Azra Games completed an additional $10 million seed round of funding, led by a16z through its $600 million gaming fund. NFX, Coinbase Ventures, Play Ventures and Franklin Templeton contributed. Azra plans to release the Legions & Legends first title later this year. In May 2022, Azra Games closed a $15 million seed round of funding led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z through its $600 million gaming fund), Participants include NFX, Coinbase Ventures, Play Ventures and Franklin Templeton. Azra Games will use the money to develop its first combat role-playing game, Project Arcanas. Azra Games was co-founded by entrepreneurs Sonny Mayugba (COO) and Travis Boudreaux, and veteran game designer Mark Otero (CEO). Mark Otero is the creator of the game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.
