The UK will introduce tax exemptions for foreign investors who use UK investment managers to invest in cryptocurrencies

BlockBeats reports that on January 1st, the UK will implement a tax exemption for foreign investors who use local brokers or investment managers to invest in cryptocurrencies. In addition, HMRC says, "This exemption is an important attraction for global investors, meaning that foreign investors will not be brought into UK tax simply by virtue of the appointment of a UK investment manager. To strengthen the UK's position as an investment management centre, this exemption has been extended to include crypto assets so that there is no delay in appointing UK managers to crypto asset-related funds."
