BitKeep: User funds have been stolen. APK download package is suspected to have been hijacked by hackers
BlockBeats news: On December 26th, Web3 multi-chain wallet BitKeep announced that after preliminary investigation by the team, it was suspected that part of the APK package download was hijacked by hackers, and the packages implanted with the code were installed. If the user's funds were stolen, Downloaded or updated apps may be hijacked versions (unofficial releases).
BitKeep said that it is now prudent for users to secure their money. If users download the APK version, they are advised to transfer their money to another wallet downloaded from an official Store (App Store or Google Play). In addition, it is recommended to use the newly created wallet address, which the user created through APK may have leaked to the hacker.
