Bitcoin miner Gridless raised a $2 million seed round led by Block and Stillmark
BlockBeats, December 6, CoinDesk reported that Gridless, an East African bitcoin mining company, has completed a $2 million seed investment, Stillmark, a bitcoin venture capital firm, and Jack Dorsey's payments company Block led the investment.
Gridless is known to have designed, built and operated bitcoin mining sites and small renewable energy producers in rural Africa. Gridless acted as the anchor tenant, funding data center construction and management operations in these rural communities that had no access to traditional industrial or commercial customers.
