SONY will launch Mocopi, a meta-universe wearable activity tracker that will cost about $358
On November 30, SONY announced its latest metacomverse product, wearable motion tracking system Mocopi. The new system is made up of six colour sensors that can be placed on various parts of the body, including ankles, wrists, head and hips, to capture human movements in real time and associate them with their avatars, allowing users to create videos of their avatars using full-body movements.
Pre-orders are scheduled to start in mid-December for 49,500 yen (about $358). From December 15, SONY will also launch a software development kit to connect motion data to the metacomverse data service.
