The European Union plans to ban encryption tokens that offer privacy
The European Union may ban privacy tokens such as Zcash, Monero and Dash, according to a leaked draft of the money laundering bill, BlockBeats reported on November 15. Credit institutions, financial institutions and crypto asset service providers should be prohibited from retaining tokens with enhanced anonymity, said the draft legislation, which has been circulated to the EU's 26 other member states for comment.
