Lens Protocol: uses Web3 and the encrypted communication protocol XMTP to provide the private message service between profiles

BlockBeats news: On November 4th, Web3 social graph Protocol Lens Protocol announced that it will use Web3 and encrypted communication protocol XMTP to provide secure and private Profile messaging services for the entire Lens ecosystem. Users are currently allowed to send private messages to each other in Lenster. Lens Protocol states that Lens Profile messages will be available on any other XMTP-enabled front end, that all messages are encrypted end-to-end, can only be decrypted by the wallet address, and that messages are sent down the chain without incurring any Gas charges. As BlockBeats previously reported, XMTP, A Web3 and encrypted communications protocol, announced a $20 million Series A funding round in September 2021, led by a16z, Coinbase Ventures, Not Boring Capial, SK Ventures and others participated. XMTP implements communication between encrypted wallets through its independent protocol and decentralized network.
