Web3 startup Spindl closes $7 million funding round led by DragonFly Capital and Chapter 1

Miami-based Web3 startup Spindl closed a $7 million round of funding on Oct. 20, led by DragonFly Capital and Chapter 1. Polygon Ventures, Tribe Capital, Multicoin, Solana Ventures and others participated, and the new funding will be used to expand recruitment. Spindl founder Garcia Martinez said the company is trying to rebuild the infrastructure of the Web2 e-commerce back end for Web3, which is how Internet companies track where their customers come from and develop acquisition strategies to attract more users. For example, Spindl can analyze Discord posts, Reddit forums, ads, and other Internet links to pair that data with on-chain behaviors like buying, selling, and trading to create profiles that help protocols understand where traffic is coming from.
