Slow Fog: Transit Swap added three arbitrage bots and two attack copycats, bringing the total known theft losses to over $28 million
According to BlockBeats news, on October 5, according to the official announcement of Transit Swap, BNB Chain added 4 profit addresses, ETH Chain added 1 profit address, and the stolen funds added 3.57 million dollars, a total of 8 profit addresses. Total losses from the theft grew to $28.84 million. After cooperating with the Transit Swap team, MistTrack reached a conclusion that 3 of the 5 newly added profitable addresses are arbitrage robots, while the other 2 are attack imitators. Previously, Slow Fog discovered the arbitrage robot address 0xcfB0 through intelligence... 7 ac7. MistTrack is still continuing to follow up this incident and analyze the fund transfer and hacker portrait of the newly added profitable address.
Up to now, with the joint efforts of all parties, the attackers have returned more than 80% of the stolen assets to the address of the Transit Swap project. It is suggested that the owner of the arbitrage robot and the attack imitator should also contact Transit Swap through service@transit.finance or the on-chain address, so as to jointly reduce the loss of victims of this theft to the minimum.
