The Aave DAO may be upgraded by redeploying the contract

The Aave DAO has begun voting on how to deploy its latest version of Aave on the Ethereum blockchain on October 5th, according to BlockBeats. The proposal suggests two solutions: create a new standalone version, or upgrade the original version. The former would make deployment faster but could lead to dispersed liquidity. So far, 99% of votes have been cast in favor of deploying the new Aave V3 on Ethereum, rather than upgrading the previous version. Voting closes on October 11.
