The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) completed the CBDC pilot with a total of $22 million in cross-border payment transactions

According to BlockBeats, on September 28, CryptoSlate reported that Daniel Eidan, an adviser to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), announced the completion on September 23 of the mBridge (Multiple CBDC or mCBDC) pilot project involving Asian central banks and the release of a detailed report in October. It covers the results of the third phase and the roadmap for the future. The mBridge project is understood to have led to $22m worth of cross-border deals between the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Thailand, China, the United Arab Emirates central bank and Emirates airline, the Bank for International Settlements and 20 commercial banks.
