Komainu, the crypto custodian, appointed the former head of the Italian stock exchange as its chief executive
Crypto custodianship Komainu has appointed Nicolas Bertrand, former head of The Italian stock exchange, as its CEO, according to The Block on September 27. Bertrand said there were no plans to raise additional funds and would try to reduce spending and continue to focus on innovation.
Komainu was launched in June 2020 by Nomura Holdings, Ledger and CoinShares to provide secure and compliant custody services for institutions. Komainu closed A $25 million Series A round led by veteran hedge fund manager Alan Howard last March.
