Russian authorities have reached a consensus on cross-border settlement of cryptocurrencies that will allow Russian nationals to use crypto wallets

BlockBeats news, September 22, according to Russian media Kommersant, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev announced that the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) and the Ministry of Finance (Minfin) reached a consensus on the cryptocurrency cross-border settlement bill. The proposed bill allows Russian nationals to use digital wallets. Crypto wallets must be opened in Russia by entities regulated by the central bank, which must comply with anti-money laundering requirements, starting with KYC.
