Swedish fintech firm Klarna has announced a new round of job cuts
Swedish fintech company Klarna has announced a new round of layoffs, according to The Block on September 22. A company spokesman said the change was justified after the appointment of a new chief operating officer in the summer. The latest cuts will be "less aggressive" than in May and will affect about 100 employees worldwide. That followed layoffs in May of about 700 employees, or about 10 percent of its workforce at the time.
